Shama Suasana Johor Bahru

we had a wonderful stay over at Shama Suasana. our room was given free upgrade due to room availability. everything was awesome from the reception to room cleanliness. our only concern was the small step outside our room door as the hallway is dimmed and the step will cause us to miss it and tripped over. location wise can be abit confusing due to the road works and closure that is going on at nearby. other than that we are very pleased and satisfied with the services rendered. thank you and keep up the wonderful service.

Stayed at Shama Suasana Johor Bahru for a work trip and had a really pleasant experience throughout my stay. The reception and hospitality staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always helpful whenever needed. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, which made it a great place to unwind after work. Breakfast was also satisfying with a good variety and everything tasted well prepared. Overall, I’d definitely recommend staying here, especially if you need accommodation near the causeway. The location is convenient, the hotel is well-maintained, and the service truly made the stay even better.

Recently stayed at Suasana Suites by Keystone (Shama Suasana) one bedroom suite, and overall it was still a pleasant stay, especially for short JB trips. The biggest plus point is definitely the location. Very convenient and within walking distance to CIQ, City Square and many eateries. The unit was also generally clean and comfortable which made the stay enjoyable. Another thing I liked was that Lesong by Johara is within the same building, making it easy to grab a nice meal or coffee without needing to travel far. The host Keystone was also very accommodating and responsive throughout the stay which made the experience smoother and more pleasant. That said, the furnishing in the apartment does feel a little dated and could use some refreshing. The balcony area in my unit also had a visible crack on the wall which was slightly concerning aesthetically. There is a washer provided which is useful for longer stays, but unfortunately there was no dryer or proper place to hang wet clothes after washing. At times, there is a slight sewage smell from the washroom. Bought an air-freshner and placed it within, which solved the issue. Keep the toilet door slightly ajar and the toilet seat cover closed. Overall, still a good stay mainly because of the cleanliness, spacious layout and strategic location, but some maintenance and small practical improvements would definitely make the experience much better.

Stayed overnight with friends at Shama. The front desk and hospitality staff were all kind and friendly! We also really enjoyed our room. The living space was extremely generous and comfortable to stay in. Breakfast was also more than sufficient and well-made! My friends and I opted for the 2 single bedder room and requested for an extra bed (RM130) for comfort! Staff were quick to respond and brought the bed over within 10minutes! Definitely recommend staying at Shama if you find yourself needing to stay near the causeway. It is extremely easy to find, clean and will be an enjoyable stay!
